Every two years, Bechtel selects roughly 300 of its highest performers and emerging leaders for an exclusive, week-long summit, and the experience they walk away with starts long before the first keynote. As the lead designer for the 2024 Global Business Meeting, I was responsible for the event's complete visual identity, from initial concept through on-site execution. That included developing the brand system, color palette, and design language, then carrying it across presentation decks, stage design, environmental graphics, digital signage, and all printed materials.​​​​​​​
The visual style was designed to both fit within Bechtel's existing color palette, while also feeling singular to 2024's event. To that end, I selected four shades from our secondary colors and used them as the basis for the overall look and feel, aiming for a vibrant, forward-looking, and exciting direction.
Beyond the design work, I was embedded with the production team for the full run of show, contributing to rehearsals, lighting and audio cues, and speaker coaching. I arrived a week early and stayed two days after close to see every detail through. 
The 2024 GBM was one of the most demanding and rewarding projects of my career, a reminder of what's possible when a great team is fully invested in the work.
